David Pearce Electrical was invited to submit a proposal for The Lawns Business Centre, where the client was looking to replace the existing lighting inside their office suites with highly efficient LED luminaires. With this particular project we were able to advise the client on various grants which were available to help fund the lighting works.
The Solution
After carrying out a site visit, we were able to issue all of the supporting documentation that the grant funders required in order to release the funding for this project. This comprehensive information included a return on investment spreadsheet which illustrated a fantastic two-and-a-half-year payback, this was due to the highly efficient LED luminaires specified combined with the introduction of advanced LED lighting control.
By installing a mixture of stand-alone and integral PIR sensors throughout, our team were able to considerably reduce the energy consumption further.
